Maybe. But I see nothing wrong about a n00b alliance being glad about its positive K/D ratios against skilled resourceful veterans. I find it being funny when its the other way arround.

However, maybe this will help a bit in your quest for truth:
1) Goonfleet has ridiculed BoB for glorifying BoB's K/D. The rationale for this ridicule was that it was blatantly obvious that Goons were less skilled and had crap ships. On the top, the GBC was still losing regions.
Example for the slow:
It is funny when you are saying that you had to move out of your ant infested home BUT that doesnt matter because you managed to kill 1 gazzillion ants.
2) BoB are now trying to ridicule Goonfleet for bringing up their good K/D ration but there is just no premise for the ridicule. Goonfleet is advancing (I assume as planned at the Feb 2006 sm÷rgssbord) and if there is any disproportion in skills, experience and ships, it is still in BoBs favor.
So, your saying it is hypocritical of the Goons to laud K/D ratios, where at the same time I cannot imagine a more hypocritical response from BoB than the posting of "K/D RATIO BOYS, K/D RATIO" in the context of the above I find mildly amusing to say the least. At the most, hypocritical in itself, which makes me amused twice.
I hope I have made this clear enough for you. I will not draw pictures.

Consider before you facepalm as you make a mistake in your assumptions, whether by accident or will, and it causes you to draw wrong conclusions.
Goons spent time posting that BoBs K/D ratio in its war with Goons doesn't matter (because that BoB would have a positive K/D ratio was assumed, but what did matter is Goons meeting an objective, i.e. depriving GBC of its systems). You, on the other hand, seem to make the mistake assuming that the Goons have been posting that K/D ratios don't matter in any given circumstance in Eve. I find no grounds to make that assumption. Please convince me otherwise.
So firstly, I can find no hypocrisy in Goons posts saying their K/D ratio in a fleet fight was positive.
Secondly, I find it hard to imagine that DBP, who I have to assume is not "some BoB smacktard", does not see that distinction. So to me its fairly obvious it is post written with an aim to condemn Goons for ridiculing in past posts the absolute importance of K/D ratios (irrespective of the importance of other objectives), while at the same time knowing very well of course that no such posts were made. I believe this fits into the common definition of hypocrisy quite well.
